Why is my in-hand so much lower than CTC?
CTC bundles costs you never see as cash: employer PF, gratuity provisioning, and sometimes insurance. Add your own PF, income tax and professional tax, and the gap between CTC and in-hand is routinely 25 to 35 percent.
