Is there a limit on the 80E education loan deduction?
No. Unlike 80C, Section 80E has no cap on the interest you can deduct. The benefit runs for up to 8 years from when repayment starts, or until the interest is fully paid, whichever is earlier. Only interest qualifies, not principal.
